I saw this tonite via Tina Roth Eisenberg of the lovely swiss-miss and wanted to share it with you here.  I am by nature, a relentless perfectionist, not in all things, but in things that define me, things that I am passionate about.  I am passionate about interior design and blogging about it is a new adventure; one that requires me to be visible as I learn.  The perfect read for me at this time and I appreciate Tina for blogging about it, and Bre Pettis and Kio Stark for writing it. Cool poster version designed by illustrator James Provost.  I hope you enjoy it as well.

your blog post had a direct influence on my day today! this morning i walked into a situation where i wasn’t sure if i knew what i was doing, or if i was prepared enough for the task… then i remembered your blog post, “pretending you know what you are doing is almost the same as knowing what you are doing. so just accept that you know what you are doing, even if you don’t and do it” and as i approached the door a wave of confidence, or security, or something rushed over me and my pretending paid off! so thank you for your dose of daily inspiration.

reading you blog has quickly become part of my daily routine. the inviting web design, the kind words, and the inspirational images, are like that first cup of coffee in the morning – alerting me to the beautiful world that awaits. so thanks for taking the time each day to inspire your visitors.

Shannon, This comment means the world to me. It is why I am blogging; it is what I have received from so many women over the years and so, THANK YOU. I feel so new, so exposed, but that manifesto was so helpful to me and I am glad that you found it helpful to you today; you are on an amazing journey in this life, with your new marriage, your phenomenal continued pursuit of knowledge and education, and your incredible gifts, one of which is photography; you inspire me girl. :) hugs, jana
