I do love fashion, and I pop in to certain fashion blogs now and then just to take a peek. There is not a lot of frivolous buying going on in our house right now, but a girl can dream, right?.  I had to post this pic and yes, the fashion is stricking——but the backdrop, are you kidding me?  I am loving the texture of the pitted concrete wall, the distressed flooring (looks like cork?), with it’s cracks and discoloration at base of floor and all.  My eye is replacing this darling, style maven in black with a clean line organic wood bed or chair, with simple texture and a pop of color; well, like this for instance:

Do you ever find yourself visualizing completely revamping a space?  Tell me about it; I’d love to hear your experience.

I do dream of changing spaces around….and then do it much to the frustrations of my family. They are always saying, “Again Mom?” I can’t help it, everything can be tweaked and changed around and I’m certain one day I will find the perfect balance to all of our things.
    I love that headboard!

    Rebecca,

I am more of a tweaker until I get it just so and then it stays like that for a long time; but when we love; the tweaking goes on for EVA. I have shifted my obsession with space composition to my studio; I must confess, yep, decorated two Christmas trees in the studio (one was tiny) twice this last year, and then I was so busy and feeling “unfinished” in there that only my associate, Ali, my husband and my kids saw the trees—that doesn’t even count the tree at home. Can you say OCD. Doin my best, jana

Amazing post! Love the incorporation of fashion as it does intertwine with design so beautifully. I love the combination you’ve come up with and this girl almost convinces me to continue growing my hair out… almost. By the way – I LOVE concrete!
